Hansley Cagdan is the newest addition to AcuCommunity! Hansley earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree at UBC.

He has worked countless hours throughout the last year at the Outpatient Clinic at Palmer College in San Jose, treating a diverse range of patients and rapidly gaining experience and knowledge early on in his career. Along with chiropractic care, Hansley utilizes many other various modalities to guide his patient’s to achieving better health, such as, manual massage, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Kinesio taping, Active Rehabilitation, and other soft tissue therapies. Hansley focuses on the sustainability of his patients by emphasizing strengthening and stretching, preventative care, and helping the patients apply healthy habits into their lives.

As a registered Acupuncturist with CTCMA, with a family background in Traditional Chinese Medicine I bring a unique blend of cultural heritage, professional experience, and evidence-based practices to my work in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

I am inspired by practitioners who integrate TCM with Contemporary Western approaches to specialize in managing conditions such as chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia, and PMS, among others. Many of these conditions overlap with broader health challenges, including women’s health issues, chronic inflammatory disorders like dermatological conditions, autoimmune diseases, and allergies.

While I can treat a variety of common health and wellness conditions (pain, sprain and strain included), I aspire to focus on the following specialties:

My practice is results-driven and focuses on uncovering the root causes of health concerns while empowering patients with effective symptom relief and lifestyle support. I incorporate elements of Japanese acupuncture techniques that emphasize precision, palpation-based diagnosis, and moxibustion to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
